In SharkBite, the Squid Sniper is a powerful weapon costing 1,250 shark teeth. Similar in grind effort to the Ray Gun, it’s a worthwhile investment thanks to its versatility. Currently the highest damage-dealing weapon in the game, the Squid Sniper’s slow firing rate limits its damage per second, making it less effective than the Ray Gun in rapid-fire scenarios. Nevertheless, it excels at long-range shots—ideal when sharks roam far across the map. Its unique trait allows it to close in on targets: pressing Z while equipped activates an extended mode, increasing its range.
The sniper features a yellow base color, a gray barrel, and a distinctive pink tentacle wrapped around much of the weapon—likely inspired by a squid, in line with its name. A light blue tank at the end holds the special “squid ammunition” and serves as an ammo reservoir. When fired, it releases a spinning squid projectile with a trailing wispy effect. The design resembles Terraria’s Bubble Gun but is probably inspired by Splatoon’s Splatterscope, fitting the squid theme.
